Chadley's World Intel
Most new materia are developed by Chadley after you finish intel in each region. Clear towers, intel spots and Combat Simulator bouts to unlock them.
Vending machines
Region vending machines and shops sell common materia and extra copies. Their stock grows as the story moves on.
Loot and story
Some materia sit in chests along story paths, especially on Mt. Nibel and in the Mako Research Facility. Search the side paths.
Summons
Summon materia are red and sit only in weapon slots. Analyse the summon crystals at each region's Divine Intel shrines first: it weakens the summon before you fight it in Chadley's Combat Simulator.

Manuscripts
